GENERAL

  • Classroom temperatures can range from 26 celsius and up. For our Stretch and Activate classes, the heat may be set to a more comfortable level. HVAC systems are available to regulate the temperature at the instructor’s discretion.

  • Don’t forget to BYOMT (Bring Your Own Mat Towel — but hey, rentals are here if you forget!). Pack your trusty reusable water bottle (we’ve got refill stations ready to quench your thirst), and slip on some grip socks to keep you steady and stylish!

  • Phones are not permitted during active classes. While you’re welcome to bring your phone into the studio, please be mindful of those around you and stay present. This is your time—embrace it!

    If you need your phone for accessibility or medical reasons, please inform your instructor.

  • Yes, plenty of on-site parking awaits your chariot! Plus, if you’re feeling adventurous, street parking along Queen St and nearby side streets has got your back. Easy peasy!

  • We offer a restroom, lockers for storage and a water refill station is available.

  • Class schedules are released monthly, allowing you to plan for the upcoming weeks.

    • Membership Perks: Depending on your membership, you can view schedules 2–3 weeks or up to 1 month in advance.

    • Standard Credits: Guests with standard credits can only view schedules 1 week ahead.

    Upgrade to a membership to unlock extended schedule access and plan your classes further in advance!

  • We totally recommend booking online to lock in your spot—because who likes missing out? But hey, if you’re feeling spontaneous, walk-ins are always welcome (as long as there’s room to roll)!

First Time at Sora?

  • First time at Sora? Swing by the front desk to check in and say hi! After that, future visits are a breeze — just check yourself in on the Sora app or get a hand from one of our friendly team members.

    We recommend showing up early so you have plenty of time to get your game face on. Once checked in, make your way to the spot number you reserved. And remember—if you’ve checked in, we expect to see you in class (no ghosting allowed)!

    Don’t forget to download the Sora app to peek at the schedule, sign up for classes, and grab our sweet intro deals: $60 for 3 classes or $95 for unlimited classes all week long. Your Pilates journey just got a whole lot easier (and cheaper)!

  • If it’s your first time at Sora, plan to show up 10–15 minutes early—think of it as your “getting-to-know-you” time. Our studio doors swing open 10 minutes before class, so you’ve got plenty of time to find your zen. Returning guests, aim for at least 5 minutes early to snag your favorite spot and settle in—pilates greatness waits for no one!

  • Come as you are—wear whatever makes you feel like a movement superstar! Grip socks are recommended for hygiene and to help keep you steady during class, but they’re not required. Don’t forget your refillable water bottle—our fancy filtered water station will keep you hydrated and happy. Also, be sure to bring a mat towel to keep things clean and comfortable. If you don’t have one, no worries! We offer rentals for $3 or you can purchase your own for $30. Oh, and we’ve got lockers to stash your stuff, so your valuables stay safe while you work that core!

STUDIO & CLASSES

  • On average, our classes are 50 minutes long.

  • Opt for lightweight, moisture-wicking clothing like leggings, shorts, tank tops, or t-shirts that dry quickly and handle sweat well.

  • Yes, we’ve got you covered! Rental mat towels are available for $3 if you forget to bring your own. You can also purchase a mat towel for $30 if you’d like to have one for keeps. Keeping things clean and comfortable is a priority, so don’t hesitate to ask at the front desk if you need one!

  • Credits are for individual use and cannot be transferred.

  • If you feel heavy levels of exertion or need a break from the heat, it’s absolutely okay to step out of the class. However, once you leave, we kindly ask that you do not re-enter to ensure minimal disruption for the instructor and other participants. Your safety is our priority, so listen to your body and take care of yourself. If you anticipate any concerns, please let us know before class starts.

  • Classes begin promptly out of respect and safety for everyone. Doors open 10 minutes before class and remain open for 2 minutes after the start time. Late arrivals will not be admitted to avoid disrupting the flow and to ensure the safety of guests near the door.

    Each class starts with an introduction on proper form and technique, which is essential for a successful session. If you’re late, we’ll gladly help you find a spot in the next available class.

    Your studio time is a gift—make it count by arriving on time.

  • To avoid losing your credit, cancellations must be made at least 12 hours before the session start time.
    Members have an extended cancellation window and can cancel up to 8 hours before class without penalty.
    Cancellations made within the cancellation window will incur a $15 fee and result in the loss of your credit.
    Please cancel your reservation through your account on our website or mobile app—email cancellations are not accepted.

  • If you do not show up for a class you’ve booked, you will be charged a $20 no-show fee.
    No-shows also result in the loss of your session credit.

  • Yes, instructors and classes may change at any time due to unforeseen circumstances. However, we’re committed to taking care of you—any changes will be communicated in advance whenever possible, and we’ll ensure you’re compensated equivalently if needed. Your experience is our top priority, so don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any concerns!

CHECK-IN & WAITLIST

  • You can check in for your class in three ways:

    1. Self Check-In on the Sora App: If you’re a returning guest, you can check in using the app starting 15 minutes before class and up to 5 minutes before it begins. First-time guests must check in at the front desk.

    2. Self-Serve Kiosk: Use the iPad at the studio entrance for quick check-ins. For account inquiries, please visit the front desk.

    3. Front Desk: All first-time visitors, ClassPass users, and those with account questions should check in here.

  • Use the Sora app to check in during the designated window (15 minutes to 5 minutes before class). Ensure location access is enabled, and you’re physically near the studio for the app to work.

  • Attendance: You must attend the class you’ve checked in for. Head directly to your reserved spot after check-in.

    No-Show Penalties: Failing to attend a checked-in class results in a double no-show fee ($40). A second violation incurs the same fee and a permanent ban.

    Cancellations: Cancel at least 12 hours in advance to free up space for others.

  • Our waitlist moves quickly to give everyone the best chance to join a class. If a spot opens, you’ll be automatically enrolled on a first-come, first-served basis up to 2 hour before the class starts.

    If you no longer wish to attend, please remove yourself from the waitlist to avoid automatic enrollment and potential penalties. You can remove yourself at any time without penalty.

    Once enrolled, our standard no-show and late cancellation policies apply. Removing yourself from the waitlist also allows others the opportunity to join. If you can’t make it within 2 hours of being notified, we recommend opting out to avoid complications.
